1. Where in the world do your clothes come from? (Clue: look at the label!)

Most of these issues are not black and white. A lot of people will tell you a lot of different things for a lot of different reasons. The key is to look further, read between the lines and keep asking questions.

What’s not so easy is to discover how your clothes were made. There’s been a lot of media attention recently about ‘sweatshops’, child labour and worker’s rights, and companies like Primark and ASDA - and now Prada too - have been targeted by people campaigning for a more ethical fashion business.

Even though we know a lot more about what’s going on round the world these days, the truth is that there is still a lot of exploitation and bad practice going on.
