8. What’s the biggest issue facing the world? How could you get people to take notice?

Most of these issues are not black and white. A lot of people will tell you a lot of different things for a lot of different reasons. The key is to look further, read between the lines and keep asking questions.

Are you interested in the big global issues such as conflict, the environment or poverty, or issues closer to home like... conflict, the environment or poverty?

The same issues that are important in the UK are important for everyone around the world, but perhaps on a different scale or in different ways. Because we are all interconnected – through what we eat, wear and buy, through our heritage, travel and migration, through the internet and media, and through the international economy and politics – local issues need to be tackled on a global scale and global issues need to be tackled on a local scale.

Whatever is your thing, share it. Get creative, get your voice heard and get other people involved.
